I’ve been chosen as one of 10 composers commissioned by the Akropolis Reed Quintet for their 10th anniversary season! Very excited to be included alongside composers such as Roshanne Etezady, Steven Snowden, Pascal Le Boeuf, and Jeffrey Scott of the Imani Winds, all of whom are huge musical inspirations to me!

I've been awarded an Artist Residency at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center in Nebraska City! I will be in residence from July 24-August 4, 2017, during which time I'll be completing work on my upcoming piece for orchestra, titled Dream Logic.
I've been commissioned by saxophonist Shawna Pennock to compose a work for solo tenor saxophone that serves as a performer's introduction to the extended technique of singing while playing. The piece will be premiered in the Fall of 2017, and will be recorded by Shawna as part of her DMA dissertation.
I have been selected to attend the Norfolk New Music Workshop in Norfolk, CT from June 23 - July 2 as an Ellen Battel Stoeckel Fellow, and the Norfolk Contemporary Ensemble will be premiering a new work of mine for mixed chamber ensemble at the culmination of the workshop!
I've been commissioned to write a 10-15 minute work for Kenari Quartet, through a grant from Chamber Music America! This commission has been made possible by the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Chamber Music America Endowment Fund.
I will be attending the New Music on the Point summer festival in Leicester, VT from June 1-13, where I'll have a new piece for clarinet, violin, and piano premiered.
